Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 February 2026

These Terms of Service govern use of Classia. Classia is a product of Toskaas Limited. By using Classia, you agree to these terms.

Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to:

  • Providers using Classia to run classes and manage administration.

  • Parent/guardian users and participants using public class pages, enrolment pages, or portal features.

Definitions

  • Classia means the Classia platform and related services.

  • Provider means a studio, school, or organisation that uses Classia to run classes.

  • Parent/guardian means an adult responsible for a participant.

  • Participant means a person taking part in classes.

  • Public class page means a provider's public page that lists class information.

  • Enrolment request means a request submitted through a public class page before provider approval.

Who the contract is with

These terms are between you and Toskaas Limited for use of Classia. Classia provides software tools. Classia does not deliver classes.

Any agreement about class delivery, attendance, refunds, or conduct between a provider and a parent/guardian or participant remains between those parties unless Classia states otherwise in writing.

Accounts and security

You must provide accurate details and keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping sign-in credentials secure.

You must not share login credentials or use access you are not authorised to use.

Provider responsibilities

Providers are responsible for:

  • Class information, pricing, and communications to families

  • Handling enrolment decisions and participant records lawfully

  • Operating their classes, including safeguarding and consent responsibilities

  • Handling refunds, cancellations, and dispute responses in line with provider terms and applicable law

Public class pages and enrolment requests

Providers can publish public class pages and accept enrolment requests through Classia. Classia may limit, remove, or suspend public access where needed for security, trust, legal, or abuse prevention reasons.

Payments, Stripe, refunds, and disputes

Where payments are enabled, Stripe is the payment processor. Classia does not store raw card details.

Providers using payments through Classia may need a Stripe Connect account and must accept Stripe's connected account and services terms.

Providers set class pricing and remain responsible for how they handle refunds, cancellations, and responses to customer disputes, unless Classia expressly agrees otherwise.

Provider responsibility for refund and chargeback arrears

Stripe fees may be charged to Classia as part of the current payment setup. If a payment connected to a provider's classes is later refunded, reversed, disputed, or charged back, and this creates a loss, fee, or negative balance for Classia, the provider must reimburse those amounts to Classia.

Recoverable amounts may include:

  • Stripe fees and dispute or chargeback fees

  • Other third-party payment costs reasonably incurred in connection with that transaction

Classia may recover these amounts by:

  1. set-off against sums otherwise payable to the provider through Classia, where permitted and practicable,

  2. issuing an invoice payable within 30 days, and

  3. suspending payment features while related arrears remain unpaid.

Classia will take reasonable steps to notify the provider and, on request, provide a breakdown of the amounts claimed.

This section applies to providers. It does not alter any statutory rights that parent/guardian users or participants may have against a provider.

Fees and taxes

Classia may charge fees for payment processing and related service features. Current fees are shown in the service. Taxes may apply. Classia may update fees with reasonable notice.

Third-party services

Classia relies on third-party services, including Stripe, Cloudflare, EU CAPTCHA, Resend, and analytics providers. Use of these services may be subject to their own terms and privacy notices.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use Classia for unlawful activity

  • Upload content you do not have rights to use

  • Access data or accounts without authorisation

  • Interfere with security controls, service integrity, or availability

  • Scrape or bulk extract data without written permission

Content and intellectual property

Providers retain ownership of their content and data. You grant Classia a limited licence to host and process that content only to provide the service.

Classia and its licensors retain ownership of the Classia platform, software, and branding.

Privacy and data handling

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. Providers remain responsible for the lawful basis for personal data they collect and use for their classes.

Availability and changes to the service

Classia aims to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Classia may carry out maintenance, security work, and service updates.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Classia at any time. Classia may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, non-payment, or material breach of these terms.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where that would be unlawful under applicable law.

Subject to that, Classia is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, or loss of data arising from use of the service.

Changes to these terms

Classia may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date. Where changes are material, Classia will take reasonable steps to notify users.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms.
