Edit a class
Edit a class to change details, timing, teacher or studio, and understand how schedule changes update sessions without losing history or enrolments as needed
Overview
Editing a class lets you change its details or schedule.
This is useful if times change, a teacher changes, or you need to correct an error. You can update the class without losing history.
Opening the edit screen
To edit a class:
- From the main navigation, select Classes.
- Select the class you want to edit.
- Select Edit Class.
The form will open with the current details filled in.

What happens to sessions
If you change the term dates or the day/time, Classia updates the sessions.
Sessions that no longer fit the new schedule are cancelled unless they are already completed. This keeps the schedule consistent.

If you do not want to save your changes:
- Select Cancel
No updates will be made.
Create a class
Create a new class by choosing a term, teacher and studio, then set key details like name, level, schedule, capacity and age range before saving in Classia
Archive a class
Archive a class to hide it from the active list while keeping enrolments and sessions, and learn how to view, restore or reference archived classes later
