Teachers

Manage teachers who deliver classes, view details and schedules, show archived staff, and understand why a teacher is required before classes can be created

Overview

Teachers represent the people who deliver classes.

A teacher must exist before a class can be created, as every class is assigned to a teacher. Teachers can be linked to multiple classes and schedules.

The Teachers page lets you view, open, edit, and archive teachers.

Opening the Teachers page

From the main navigation, select Teachers.

You will see a list of teachers showing:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Public visibility

Select a teacher’s name to open their details.

Showing archived teachers

By default, only active teachers are shown.

To include archived teachers:

  • Select Show Archived

This is useful if a teacher has left but you still need to reference past classes or schedules.

Sorting the list

Use the Filters menu to sort by:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone

Understanding the teachers list

Each row represents one teacher.

  • Name is shown as last name, first name.
  • Email is used for contact and identification.
  • Phone is optional and shown if provided.
  • The menu at the end of the row provides available actions.

Viewing a teacher

When you open a teacher, you can see:

  • Their contact details
  • A list of assigned classes
  • Their schedule, shown by day, week, or month
  • Qualifications and dance class types

This makes it easy to see what a teacher is responsible for at a glance.

Public visibility

Teachers are hidden from public pages unless Show on public pages is enabled.
This keeps public listings conservative while letting staff see everyone internally.
