Archive a studio

Archive a studio to hide a venue from active lists while preserving linked classes and history, and learn when to do it and how to restore later if needed

Overview

Archiving a studio removes it from the active studios list without deleting it.

This is useful for venues you no longer use but may want to reference later.

When to archive a studio

You might archive a studio when:

  • You no longer run classes at that location
  • A temporary venue is no longer in use
  • You want to keep the studios list tidy

Archiving is reversible.

Archiving a studio

To archive a studio:

  1. From the main navigation, select Studios.
  2. Select the studio you want to archive.
  3. Select Archive Studio.
  4. Confirm the action if prompted.

The studio will be archived immediately.

What happens when a studio is archived

When a studio is archived:

  • It no longer appears in the studios list by default
  • Existing classes remain linked for reference
  • Historical information is preserved

No data is deleted.

Viewing archived studios

To view archived studios:

  • Go to the Studios list
  • Select Show Archived

Restoring a studio

If you need to use a studio again:

  • Open the archived studio
  • Restore or unarchive it using the available option

The studio will return to the active list.

Common questions

Will archiving affect past classes?
No. Archiving does not change class history or records.

Should I archive unused studios?
