Archive a teacher to remove them from active lists while preserving past schedules and class links, with guidance on when and how to reverse it if needed

Archiving a teacher removes them from the active teachers list without deleting them.
This is useful when a teacher is no longer teaching but you still need to retain historical records.
When to archive a teacher
You might archive a teacher when:
- They are no longer teaching classes
- They have left your organisation
- You want to keep the teachers list focused on current staff
Archiving is reversible.
Archiving a teacher
To archive a teacher:
- From the main navigation, select Teachers.
- Select the teacher you want to archive.
- Select Archive Teacher.
- Confirm the action if prompted.
The teacher will be archived immediately.
What happens when a teacher is archived
When a teacher is archived:
- They no longer appear in the teachers list by default
- Their assigned classes remain visible for reference
- Past schedules and records are preserved
No data is deleted.
Viewing archived teachers
To view archived teachers:
- Go to the Teachers list
- Select Show Archived
Restoring a teacher
If a teacher returns:
- Open the archived teacher
- Restore or unarchive them using the available option
They will reappear in the active teachers list.
