Archive a class

Archive a class to hide it from the active list while keeping enrolments and sessions, and learn how to view, restore or reference archived classes later

Overview

Archiving a class removes it from the active classes list without deleting it.

This is useful for classes that no longer run but need to stay on record.

Archiving a class

To archive a class:

  1. From the main navigation, select Classes.
  2. Select the class you want to archive.
  3. Select Archive Class.
  4. Confirm the action if prompted.

The class will be archived immediately.

What happens when a class is archived

When a class is archived:

  • It no longer appears in the classes list by default
  • Enrolments and sessions remain for reference
  • Class history is preserved

Archived classes cannot be edited until they are restored.

Viewing archived classes

To view archived classes:

  • Go to the Classes list
  • Select Show Archived

Restoring a class

If you need the class again:

  • Open the archived class
  • Restore or unarchive it using the available option

Common questions

Will archiving remove enrolments or attendance? No. Archiving does not remove enrolments or attendance records.
